Hi, my name is Donna Manning, and I'm an artist in Laconia, NH. I invite artistic challenges and strive for excellence. I do not presume to be “the best artist”, but the best artist I can be. This philosophy is what I live by. I do not look to my peers for a challenge, but within myself. And I do not look to the critics for guidance, but to the public, because they are the ones who live with my art.

This self-taught New Hampshire native artist was born in 1949 and raised in Belmont. A lifelong resident of the state, her art career has been followed by enthusiasts, local and foreign, since she was a child.

Manning has produced works in mediums including acrylic paintings, pen and ink, pastels, charcoal, pencil, schnerenschnitte, and silhouettes. She is additionally an accomplished sculptor and photographer. Many of her works have been published and made available through limited editions.

Always mindfull of her origin, her style is realistic, portraying nature, historic architectural subjects, portraiture, and regional interests. Over the past thirty-five years, Manning has received recognition for her numerous works nationwide.
